I am 24 years old and wondering where my art is going to be twenty years from now. I started drawing when my mother wanted to occupy me while she was dealing with my handicapped brothers doctor appointments. She was surprised at how quiet and content I was, but I don't remember it so you would have to ask her. She said I would draw full scenes on the walls in my room, until she said if I did one more time I was going to clean it. That stopped and to paper it was. My mother found that to inspire me she had to make it somehow work artistically. I didn't want to learn cursive so she introduced me to Calligraphy and I have been addicted since, which is why calligraphy has been incorporated into a few of my drawings. My art teacher in high school had a set curriculum when I came around and gave him ideas. Suddenly he was teaching all the things I chose to experiment on my own. He keeps hoping I am going to be this big tado artist, but I don't know... I love art. I am fascinated by two favorite time frames of art, the pre-raphealite and the pin-up era. Just awesome. One being romantic and the other being flirty. My art though has more of the pin-up influence too it though. My idols for art in that department Olivia de Berardiinis, Arnold Armstrong, Gil Elvgren, and Alberto Vargas.
